Violet Marion Moench,the daughter of Vernon L. and Eva (Squire) Goble, was born on November 6, 1926 in Sebeka, MN. Violet married Stanley Moench on August 2, 1944. After ten years of living in several places they moved to the farm near Bluegrass in 1955. Together they raised seven children. Violet was talented at crocheting, quilting, embroidery and painting ceramics. She loved country music and a highlight of her later years was attending a Randy Travis concert. Violet loved flowers, cooking, baking and vegetable gardening which led to lots of canning. She loved fishing and helped in processing deer every year she was able to. She loved her grandchildren and would have raised them as if they were her own. Violet died on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena at the age of 94. She is survived by daughters Judy (Anthony) Wenzel, Randall and Sharon (Gerry) Wollum, Coon Rapids. Sons: Lee (Anita) Moench, Sebeka; Bill(Carolyn) Moench, Sebeka; Tim Moench, Sebeka. Brother: Eugene (Marie) Goble, Detroit Lakes, many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Eva Goble, husband Stanley and sons Donald and Kenneth. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 at Wevley Funeral Home Sebeka, MN with visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wing River Cemetery.
