Terrance Lee Juntunen

June 4, 1973 — September 26, 2021

Terrance Lee Juntunen, age 48, passed away unexpectedly at him home on September 26, 2021. Terrance was born June 4, 1973 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, to Connie (Salo) and Jerry Juntunen. Terry grew up five miles east of Menahga with his two siblings, Timothy and Tamatha. He graduated from Menahga Public School in 1992, and then attended Northwest Technical College in Detroit Lakes for Auto Body Technician, graduating in 1994. He started working at Renneberg Hardwoods out of high school. While attending college he worked at Elmer’s Auto Body in Menahga, then later returned to Renneberg’s, where he continued to work throughout his years driving truck. He was married to Angel Buschette and they had two children, Samantha and Dylan. He loved spending as much time as possible with his children. They enjoyed riding dirt bike and four wheeling in the state land and riding horse. He also enjoyed deer hunting and camping each year with his children. One thing his children will always remember was their “Friday night grocery shopping”. Terry was a jack of all trades: auto body, auto mechanic, carpenter, woodworker, etc. He was a loving, devoted father and was a great friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his children, Samantha and Dylan; mother, Connie; brother, Timothy (Kristine); sister, Tamatha (Daniel) Gilster; and nephews: Anthony, Keaton, Maxwell, Jayden, Tucker and Finley. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Juntunen; and grandparents, James and Violet Juntunen and Leo and Julia Salo. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN.
