Shirley Sidenkrantz

Shirley Sidenkrantz, age 74, of New York Mills, MN, formerly of Sebeka, MN died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Elders Home in New York Mills. Shirley was born to Arnold and Helen (Mosher) Krueger on October 2, 1943 in Moorhead, MN. At a young age, Shirley and her family moved to Verndale, MN where she completed her education. In 1958 Shirley was married to Burton Sidenkrantz. Shirley and Burton farmed their entire lives. Shirley retired in 2000. Shirley loved to dance play music, bingo, fishing, playing cards and she also enjoyed an adult beverage from time to time. Shirley is survived by her two daughters Christine Finck and her husband Dallas of Wadena, MN and Cheryl Sidenkrantz of Bluffton, MN; two sisters LaVonne Johnson of Princeton, MN and Vernice Hunt of Olivia, MN; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Sebeka United Methodist Church in Sebeka, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church. Inurnment will be at Wadena Cemetery at a later date.
