Robert Walter Killian

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 7, 2021 at Faith Bridge Church in Park Rapids, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service. On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, Robert Walter Killian, loving husband, and father of three children, passed away at the age of 90. Robert was born on January 26, 1930, in Lydia, Minnesota to Walter and Lillie Killian. He was raised on a Minnesota farm, and as an adult, he served in both the Navy and Air Force. Returning from the service, he married Lorraine Deutsch. They raised three children, Steven, Audrey, and Ronald. After 20 years, Lorraine Deutsch passed away, and Robert married Charlotte in 1973. Robert and Charlotte were married for forty-seven years. Robert and Charlotte moved to northern Minnesota, where Robert worked in construction and later as a groundskeeper and head of maintenance at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga. Robert had an avid passion for planting and maintaining trees. He also enjoyed the great outdoors with fishing and hunting. Robert is survived by his wife Charlotte, and his three children and their families.
