Richard Wayne Sordahl

Richard (Rick) Wayne Sordahl died at his home in rural Menahga, March 9, 2019, at the age of 66. Born April 7, 1952 to Clarence and Elizabeth (Johnson) Sordahl in Thief River Falls, MN. Rick graduated from Menahga High School. He graduated from Wadena Technical College for Auto Mechanic. He worked at Burkel turkey farms and RD Offutt driving semi.Rick married Renee (Zentner) December 1, 1972 Rick enjoyed horse camping and riding the trails with his wife and trusty horse, Quinn.Survived by his 2 daughters. Christina (Daran) Borth and Callie (Rich) Avelsgard. Grandsons Derek (Layla) Borth, Dustin Borth and Ethan Avelsgard. Great granddaughter Brooke Borth, Brother David (Brenda) Sordahl, Sister Karen KruftNumerous nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul and niece Angie. A time of sharing will be held from 2-4 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN. Private inurnment at a later date.
