Reuben Floyd Stierna

Reuben Stierna 85-year-old resident of Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga, MN passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020. A memorial service will be held at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home at 1:00 on Friday July 31, 2020. Grave side service will be at 2:00 at the Paddock Bethany Cemetery, Paddock Township, Otter Tail County. Reuben was born on January 1, 1935 in Blowers Township, Ottertail County, MN to Emil and Jennie (Ohlgren) Matta Stierna. He attended school in Blowers Township and Sebeka HS. He was united in marriage to Elsie Warm on August 27, 1960 in Paddock Bethany Lutheran Church, Paddock Township, Otter Tail County, MN. They made their home in Aurora, MN where Reuben worked for the Duluth, Mesabe and Iron Range Railroad Co. until 1995 when they moved to Wadena and settling later in Menahga at Greenwood Connections. Reuben is survived one sister; Irene Schwirzer, Vermont. two brothers; Reinhold Matta, Washington and Clifford Matta, Iowa. Sister-in-law; Debra (Darrell) Anderson of Monticello, MN. Sister-in-law; Audriene Warm, of Silver Bay, MN and many Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Emil and Jennie (Ohlgren) Matta Stierna, wife; Elsie, sisters; Mayme Rydie, Edith Lillquist and Esther Saarela and brother Arnold Matta. Father-in-law & Mother-in-law; Lawrence & Selena Warm. Brother-in-law; Donald Warm, Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law; James & Lorraine Finck.
