Patricia Suzanne Cruitt

Patricia Susanne Cruitt (Jurva) passed away on January 31, 2021 at her home in Menahga, Minnesota at the age of 63. Patricia (Patty) was born on August 6, 1957 to James and Gloria Jurva (Anderson). Patty graduated from Grand Rapids high school in 1975. From there she moved to Anoka, where she met John Cruitt. John and Patty were married on March 15, 1986 at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, Minnesota. They resided in Anoka with their children until John's passing. After John's passing, Patty and the children moved to Menahga. Patty left us with many fond memories. She had a passion for music that she shared with all of us. As a young girl, she was selected out of many to sing alto for Select Chorus District 279. Patty was born with a gift of laughter and humor that we found contagious. Her heart and home were always open to friends, family, and her children's friends who she treated as her own. She was always there to listen and help any way she could. She would want you to know you are important, you matter, and you were loved by her. She was preceded in death by her father James Jurva, husband John Cruitt, and nephews Robert Braford and Jamie Braford. Patty is survived by her mother Gloria Jurva, son Dan Jurva, daughter Amber Aho (Jesse), sisters: Ann Jurva (Jerry), and Lisa Jurva; brother Mike Jurva (Crystal), nieces: Heather Parrish (Jayme), and Jennifer Jurva; nephew James Jurva, her beloved grandchildren: Emily, Allison, and Evan Aho, and Braden Jurva. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life for Patty will be held at a later date.
