Michael Joseph Tracy, age 63, of Wadena, passed away peacefully at Essentia Hospital with his sisters by his side on March 8, 2018. Mike was born in Minneapolis and attended Simpson College, earning multiple degrees. He joined the Navy and spent time stationed in Rota Spain, in addition to traveling extensively throughout Europe and Africa. He then spent many happy years at his home in Texas before moving to Minnesota. Mike loved music and was a drummer who played in bands throughout the years, from college, to church, to his band Nao Faz Mal in Spain. His generosity and kindness were only exceeded by the depth of his Irish humor. He shared the gifts of love and laughter with so many on his journey through life. Mike is survived by his sisters Pat Tuorila of Wadena, Ruth Komppa of New York Mills, and Barbara Tracy (Ron Sills) of Ormond Beach, FL, niece Kelly Komppa of Jacksonville, FL, nephews Tom Komppa of Sebeka and Ryan Tracy (JoAngela) of Denver, CO, great nephews Max and Ari Tracy, his extended family and many friends. Funeral Mass will be held 11a.m. Friday, March 16th at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Bluegrass. Visitation one hour prior Private interment and celebration of life will be at a later date.
