Michael John Hand

Michael John Hand, age 67, of Sebeka, MN, was found dead of natural causes in his home in Sebeka on February 23, 2024. Michael was born to Russell and Lorraine (Moore) Hand in Crookston, MN, on October 17, 1956. He moved around a lot with his family, eventually ending in Menahga, where he went to high school. While living in Menanga, MN, he met Debra Smith. they were married in 1987, and together, they raised three beautiful children. They divorced in 2011. He worked many jobs throughout the years, such as the laundry mat and turkey farms. He ended his career as a Union Carpenter. He will be remembered for all his pranks on the kids and his "Donald Duck" impersonation. He will be missed by those who loved and cared for him. Michael is survived by his daughters, Jessica Hand and Abby Hand and son Sam Smith, seven precious grandchildren, sisiters; Brenda (John) Mason, Dawn Cedarbloom, Barb Mathiew, Jeri (Marty) Sullinger brothers; Casey Hand and Patrick (Jill) Hand other relatives and numerous freinds. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peggy and John Moore, Ruth and John Drinkerd, his parents Lorraine and Russell Hand, brother, Kelly Hand, grandson Eli Klasen, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Celebration Of Life for Mike will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at 34825 U. S. Hwy 71, Menahga, MN 56464.
