Mark Allen Daniels

Mark A Daniels 67 of Nimrod, MN passed away Saturday July 23, 2022 at Lakewood Health System Staples, MN after a long battle with cancer. Mark was born at Wesley Hospital Wadena, MN on May 14, 1955 to Wayne and Mable (Lehner) Daniels. He was a 1974 graduate of Sebeka High School and a 1975 graduate of Detroit Lakes Vo-tech. He was a forklift operator for RDO in Park Rapids for many years until his health failed. Mark enjoyed attending auctions, collecting and restoring different toys, woodworking making many gifts for family members. He enjoyed his time with his family. If there was a sporting event, graduation, wedding or just a small family gathering at one of his siblings home, he could be counted on to be at those events. Family was important to him and he will be missed. Mark is survived by his sisters Rita (Duane) Swanson Nimrod, MN and Anita (Wayne) Wilson Staples, MN, his brothers Melvin (Charlotte) Daniels Staples, MN and Mickey (Becky) Daniels Oylen, MN, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Nimrod Lutheran Church in Nimrod, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Poplar Cemetery.
