Lila Hilda Marjama

Lila Hilda (Anderson) Marjama, 92, of Blaine, MN passed away June 11, 2021. She was born to Enoch and Hilda Anderson on October 14, 1928 in Menahga, MN. She completed her schooling at Menahga High School. She married the late Howard Byron Marjama in Menahga on October 14, 1946, and they settled in Minneapolis, MN. Lila is survived by Gary and family, Wayne (Nancy) and family, Beverly (William) and family, Michael (Teresa) and family, and one sister Priscilla (Ray). She is survived by fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Lila is predeceased in death by her loving husband, two sons, a daughter, and two daughter-in-laws. Lila was an accomplished musician. She loved performing in English and Finnish. She loved travelling, especially to Finland. She loved to entertain and delighted in holiday get-togethers. Lila was an ordained minister; officiating at various weddings, funerals and dedications. She was the ultimate “UPWORDS” champion. Reviewal will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 5-8pm at Wevley Funeral Home, 1 Northeast #107, Sebeka MN 56477. Viewing also one hour prior (1pm) to the funeral which will be on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2pm at Pinewood A/G Church, 37863 US Hwy 71, Menahga, MN 56464. Burial following funeral at Alajoki Cemetery.
