Kristine Lynn Lamont

With deep sadness, the family of Kristine Lamont announce her passing after a brief illness, on April 11, 2018.  Kristine was born on December 13, 1966 to Andrew and Roseann Vardzel in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  She graduated from North Hills High School and later earned a nursing degree at St Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh. Kristine along with her family have made Sebeka, Minnesota home for the past 10 years. She and her Husband Scott moved from Pittsburgh in 1994 to Michigan for one year, where her son Jacob was born, and then in Wisconsin for 11 years before relocating to Minnesota. Kristine is survived by her Husband Scott and Son Jacob, her Aunt Carol (Ehrenberger), Uncle Steven (Onderko), two sisters - Jenny (Mccorkle) and Laura (Rogers) and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Kristine was a great mother and wife, decorated her home tastefully and with a personal flair.  Kristine was a private person but to those she opened up to they found a fiercely loyal and intensely truthful friend.  She single handedly tried to keep ebay, UPS and USPS in business. She and her husband Scott enjoyed taking walks, going to auctions and an occasional Bingo game.  A Memorial Service for Kristine will be held on Friday April 20th at 11:00 with visitation an hour prior to the Service at the Sebeka United Methodist Church.
