Kathleen Kay Lillquist

Kathleen Kay Lillquist was born in Wadena, Minnesota on September 3, 1954 to Robert W. Thomas and Leona M. Nelson. She died on February 22, 2021 at the age of 66 in Park Rapids. Kathy grew up on a farm one mile west of Sebeka, with six siblings and attended Sebeka High School. She married Roy Davey and had two children, Danny and Angela Davey. Later in life she married Darwin Lillquist on February 19, 2005. She spent most of her life working on the farm and taking care of others. Kathy has always loved the outdoors - hunting, camping and horseback riding. She was a devoted wife to her family and friends. She loved them deeply. Her pride and joy in life where all of her grandchildren. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Thomas and grandson/son Alec Davey, along with many other loving family members. She is survived by her husband Darwin Lillquist; daughters: Angela Davey, and Cassie Schoon (Cole); sons: Danny Davey, Jon (Jenny) Lillquist, Chris (Amy) Lillquist, and Greg (Marya); mother, Leona Hinckley; sisters: Marium (Michael) Caudill, Linda Lou Peka, and Gloria (Tom) Johnson, brothers: Robert R. Thomas, Gary G. Thomas and Wayne Thomas, and 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 28 from 5-8 p.m. at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
