Julie Ann (Peterson) Jones

Julie Ann (Peterson) Jones, age 53, of Menahga, MN passed away on February 15th, 2018 at the St. Cloud Hospital.    Julie was born on June 23rd, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN to Ervin and Mary Peterson. She graduated from Sebeka, MN High School in 1983. Julie was united in marriage to Matt Jones on October 22nd, 1987. During her career she worked as a Nursing Assistant. Julie enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Runeberg First Apostolic Lutheran Church.      Julie is preceded in death by her Grandparents Hugo and Mayme Hendrickson, Arvid and Evelyn Peterson, Step Grandfather Carl Hendrickson, her sister Margaret Peterson, and nephew Brian Pietila.    Julie is survived by her Parents Ervin and Mary Peterson of Menahga, MN. Siblings, Mark (Laura) Peterson of Delano, MN, Mike (Loretta) Peterson of Loretto, MN, Kathryn (Keith) Johnson of Calumet, MI, Loren (Anita) Peterson of Cokato, MN, Al (Maggie) Peterson of Menahga, MN, Rachel (Brad) Ylitalo of Delano, MN, Jon (Sara) Peterson of Menahga, MN, Rebecca (Mark) Pietila of Howell, MI, Nora (Peter) Pietila of Delano, MN, Brian (Emily) Peterson of Menahga, MN, and Kristin (Dennis) Juopperi of Delano, MN, 71 Nieces and Nephews, 1 Great- Nephew, and a host of Brothers and Sisters in Faith. A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19th from 5 to 8 PM with a Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 20th at 11 AM. Both the Visitation and Funeral will be held at Runeberg First Apostolic Lutheran Church.
