Jean Marlene Koitila

Jean Marlene Koitila was born to Helga (Lillquist) Makela and Matt Makela,  She spend most of her life on her parents homestead in Sebeka.  She was a cook at the Coop lunch counter, worked at the DAC, bartender at the Legion and Johnson's Well Drilling.  Jean was a proud member/president of the auxiliary for over 50 years.  She attended church at Our Saviors Lutheran.   Jean was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad Edwin Widell, husband Wally, her son David in 1997, siblings and other family she loved.   She will be missed by her children, Larry ( Christy), Linda ( Bart) and Deanna ( Ted).  Grandchildren Coleman Rydie, Tanya ( John) Grimsbo, Jay ( Stacy) Miller and Kristi ( Kurt) Eisenschenk, her great grand children and many other adopted, blended family who called her grandma!!  Later Mom, grandma / great grandma !!!  We're going to miss you,   A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the staff of Serenity Living and CHI St Joseph Hospice team for their caring support.   A Celebration of her life will be this spring at the Sebeka West Cemetery.
