James Ronald Warmbold

James Rondald warmbold, age 70, of Menahga MN, passed away in October 24, 2023 at Astera Hospital in Wadena, MN. James, known as Jim, was born to parents Harold and Valdean (Tomperi) Warmbold on May 26, 1953. Jim lived most of his life in Menahga MN. Jim served in Vietnam War in the US Navy. On July 1, 1978 Jim married Dot Vry (divorced in 1985). They had one daughter Amanda Warmbold. Jim received an associates of arts degree in civil engineering in 1985. Jim spent most of his life working in commercial construction, sewer and water. He was a proud member of the Laborers Local 563 Union. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandkids. He was on the local baseball team for many years and coached little league. He enjoyed watching nd cheering for all local and MN sports teams. Jim was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6206. He never met a stranger and loved volunteering and helping his community. Jim was proceeded in death by his parents, Harold and Valdean, his brother Marlin Warmbold, and nephew Nathan Vry. Jim is survived by his daughter Amanda Warmbold and grandkids Grace and Gavin Warmbold. Siblings Marvin (Marilyn) Warmbold, Gayle (Herb) Ollila, Roxanne (Rick) Vry, Christine (Bruce) May and Daniel Warmbold. Celebration of life will be held on November 18, 2023 at the Menahga VFW post 6206. 1-4pm.
