Ecclesiastes 12:7 The spirit of Helen Rose Bradshaw returned to God on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, with family by her side. Helen was born to Victor and Leila Cooley on March 25, 1933 in Houston, Texas. On August 25, 1950, Helen and Charles Reagan Bradshaw joined their lives in matrimony at Lindale Assembly of God Church in Houston. Their union was blessed with three children: Margaret, Rebecca, and Eric. Helen was God-fearing woman who loved her LORD and her family dearly. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She also loved being outdoors in her gardens. Canning and preserving summer's bounty was a family tradition in her kitchen for more years than can be numbered. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles; her son Eric; her grandson Chuck Komppa; her son-in-law Larry Komppa; her parents and four siblings: Beatrice, Homer, Finis and Leroy. She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret (Chuck) Martin of Colorado City, Texas and Rebecca Komppa of Sebeka; four grandchildren: Steven (Tracy) Komppa of Colorado City, Texas; Senia (Adrian) Munoz of Colorado City; Eric (Anna) Komppa and Frank (Megan) Komppa of Sebeka; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Her family laid her body to rest in Red Eye Cemetery at a private family burial on November 19, 2021. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wevley Funeral Home of Sebeka.
