Doyle Clyde Markman

October 8, 1959 — November 11, 2023

Doyle was called home unexpectedly on November 11, 2023. We that were left behind were not ready, but God had a special plan for him. He was born to Clyde and Helen (Luitjens) Markman on October 8, 1959. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mathews Church in Worthington, Minnesota. He participated in cub scouts and owned a bike repair shop with his dad and brother Randy. Doyle’s career started riding along with his dad hauling livestock. At 16 years of age, he started driving at night for his dad’s company. After graduating from Worthington High School in 1979, he completed 1 year of truck driving school at Alexandria Vo-Tech in 1980 and started working at Sather’s Trucking. Even though he worked at multiple trucking companies throughout his career, he had only been out of trucking for 2 years while getting his associate degrees. He attended a small engine repair program at Detroit Lakes AVTI. His last job was for Midnite Express / Knight Transport for a total of 26 years for them. Doyle married Cindy Kruft-Wilson on June 15, 1990, in Park Rapids, MN. This was a second marriage for both, and this union made them stronger together. One year later, on July 27, 1991, they were blessed with a daughter Heidi Jo (Markman) Brekke. His many interests included camping with family, traveling, hunting and fishing. They visited Duluth, Mexico and Montana. Doyle enjoyed making knives and ornaments. He is survived by his wife Cindy (Kruft) Markman, daughter, Heidi Jo (Markman) Brekke (Sean Brekke), step-children, Shala Mae Wilson-Young (Trevor Young), Kristopher Lee Wilson (Kelly Wilson), grandchildren, Kyelee Wilson, Logan Wilson, Kaiden Langford, Exavia Rose Wilson, Bailey Markman-Blonigen, Riley Brekke, Serenity Parker, and Parker Moon Wilson, mother Helen Markman, brother, Randy (Brenda) Markman, nieces and nephews Rev. Christopher Markman, Michael Markman, Sarah (Jon) Ksepka and children, Sam, Ben, and Viola, and many grand-pups and other animals. He was preceded in death by his dad, Clyde Markman. LOVE YOU MOST!
