Donna M. Sarbaum

Donna May (Puttonen) Sarbaum was born on May 6th, 1945, at Wesley Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota to Elmer and Irene (Hanninen) Puttonen.  She attended country school at Greenway School, District #171 in Paddock Township. Then finished her education at Sebeka Public School.   She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church as a young child. Donna worked as a laborer at G & K Services in Minneapolis for 28 years. She then retired and moved back to the Menahga area in June of 2004. Donna was a hard worker and generous lady.  She is survived by her children Renee Hall and Richard Koski. Grandchildren Justin Koski, Nathan Hall, and Kelsey (John) Allen. Great grandchildren Shane Koski and Alexis Allen. Siblings Kenny Puttonen of Minneapolis, LaVerna Ohlgren of Menahga, Donald (Bonnie) Puttonen of Menahga, Ella Kuha of Minneapolis, Eugene (Vickie) Puttonen of Sebeka, and David (Rhonda) Puttonen of Sebeka. Preceding Donna in death were her parents Elmer and Irene Puttonen, Gene Sarbaum, Dean Puttonen, and Willy & Ross Kuha. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2019, at First English Lutheran Church in Menahga, MN with Pastor Jim Hallaway officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in rural Sebeka following the church service.
