Darlene Grace Berry

Darlene Grace Berry, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Serenity Living Solutions in Sebeka, MN. Darlene was born December 11, 1932 in Minot, North Dakota to Frank and Elizabeth Rademacher. She was raised on her parents farm in Foxholm, North Dakota. She attended Foxholm Elementary School and graduated from Carpio High School. She attended one year of business school after graduation, then worked at Woolworth Department Store. She married Robert Berry on October 20, 1953. They moved to Sebeka, Minnesota where they farmed for 18 years. Darlene also was a part time waitress at the Four Seasons and Pine Cove Inn. Then in 1977 they moved into the town of Sebeka. Darlene enjoyed baking, visiting with neighbors and friends, and spending time with her family. She especially liked big family gatherings and playing cards with her grandkids. She was an Auxiliary member at the Sebeka Legion for many years. She leaves behind her children, Craig (Janell) of Perham, Curt (Deb) of Jefferson City, Montana, Pam (Myron) Redetzke of Sebeka, Kim (Darrel) Olson of Menahga, Kevin of Sebeka, Denise Christiansen of Otsego; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, her sibling Walter Rademacher of Foxholm, North Dakota. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, her brothers, Donald and Arthur and daughter-in-law Darla Berry. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka . A private family memorial service will follow at 11:30 am.
