George Super, 83, of LittleFalls/Menahga, MN passed away peacefully at St. Otto's care center on December 5th with his daughters by his side. George graduated from MPLS vocational in the spring of 1955. After graduating he traveled the country working for the Northern Pacific Railroad as a cook until 1966. On Nov, 25th 1961 in Foxhome, MN he was united in marriage to his loving wife Donna Radetzke of Butler Township until her death in 2005. Together they owned a Drive In in Nevis, MN from 1966-69. They moved back to Minneapolis and he worked as a machine operator at Master Machining and Excel Machining. He retired from Municipal Parking in Minneapolis in April of 1995. George and Donna sold their house in Minneapolis and moved to their retirement home in Menahga, where he got to do what he truly loved; which was keeping score and running the clock for the Menahga boys and girls sports teams. Being around all the staff and kids at school really brought joy to his life. He loved music of all types, fishing, playing bingo with his daughter Becky and all his friends. He was also a Shriner. George was preceded in death by his wife Donna Super, dad and mother George and Elsa Super of MPLS. Two sisters Delores Andress of Berkley, MI, Eleanor Eddy of Cochise, AR, and Grandson Joshua Bungert of Menahga. He is survived by his daughters Becky Pickar of Wadena, Brenda Beam (Jim) of Royalton, Grandsons Chris Bungert (Spring), Steve Misencik (Madison), Tim Bungert, Cory and Jesse Gunderson,Granddaughter Stephanie Feisthamel (Joe) and Great grandchildren Madysen, Macie, Andrew, and Charlie. Visitation for the immediate family will be held from 11 AM to 12 noon on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN. Masks will be required. Graveside Services will be held at 1pm Friday, December 11, 2020 at Menahga City Cemetery.
