Violet Marie Uttermark

Violet Uttermark, age 99, formerly of Sebeka, passed away at her son’s home in Bloomington, Minnesota on August 19, 2017. Violet was born in Oklahoma on January 1, 1918. After school, Violet worked in St. Louis, Missouri where she met her husband, Ervin Uttermark. After Erv’s discharge from the service, they moved to Sebeka and farmed. Violet loved to bake, sew and read. She was preceded in death by husband Erv; her parents William and Myrtie Coker; sisters: Claudia, Almeda, Bessie and Viola; brothers: Harold, Victor and Irman. Violet is survived by her son Elwood, his wife Terri, grandson Brian and his girlfriend Emily and one great-granddaughter Rylee. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 1 p.m. at the Sebeka United Methodist Church in Sebeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at the Sebeka West Cemetery.
