Magdalene "Maggie" Dora Priebe

Magdalene (Maggie) Dora Priebe, 95, of Wadena, MN died June 8, 2017 at Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. Magdalene was born on June 22, 1921 to Christian Jung and Elizabeth (Diedtrich) Jung in Hosmer, SD , South Dakota. She married Carl Priebe on March 8th, 1938 in Timber Lake, SD. They lived on the family farm near Sebeka, MN. Maggie worked at the Green Pine Acres nursing home in Menahga. She was a member of the District 49 school board for many years. She also was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church LCMS at North Germany. Magdalene is survived by her son Morris (Karen) Priebe, Wadena; daughters: Arladean Brown, Battle Lake, MN; Candace (Lyle) Hultgren of Cloquet, MN; son-in-law Marcel Brenny, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Priebe, daughter Arlette Brenny, infant granddaughter, grandson Wade Brown, brothers Alven Jung, Jacob Young, John Jung, Arthur Jung, Reuben Jung and sisters Frieda Corson and Violet Naasz. Pallbearers are her grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church North Germany Township with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, North Germany Township.
