Christine Kay Line

Christine Kay Line was born in Cheyenne, WY on January 7, 1952. After being admitted to the St. Cloud hospital on November 12, 2016 she died peacefully with her family around her on November 30, 2016. After living in Duluth, MN for a year Chris, her parents and sisters moved to Verndale, MN where she lived throughout her childhood and graduated high school. It was there she met her first husband Michael Stinar. They were married July 18, 1970 in Verndale. After many moves and Michael’s return from Vietnam they moved to Park Rapids, MN with all four of their children. Chris worked as manager at Ben Franklin. After twenty-five years of marriage Chris and Michael were divorced. On August 31, 1996 Chris married Randy Line on Dinner Lake just North of Park Rapids. She resided in Park Rapids throughout the remainder of her life doing many crafts such as: sewing, knitting, crocheting and plastic canvas. She also enjoyed baking with her grandchildren especially during the holidays. Chris was very caring and a great listener. Many who knew her counted on her support and comfort through hard and even good times. Chris is survived by her husband, Randy Line, her daughter, Tina (Steve) Tabery (Amanda, Michael, Alexandra, Jensyn, Matthew) her son, Dan Stinar (Tabitha, Haley, Imogen) daughter, Tanya (Jim) Rife (Taylor, Zachary, Jawni) son, Scott (Alisha) Stinar (Tia, Jada Quinn, Kevra, Jayda Rose), her five sisters: Rosemary (Steve) Stinar, Jean (Rick) Stinar, Carol (David) Miller, Sandy (Gary) Gould, Robin (Tony) Carlstrom, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her five great-grandchildren. Her parents Delores and Ralph Epler preceded Chris in death. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Wevley Funeral Home Sebeka, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment Services will be held in the Spring of 2017 in McGregor, MN she will be laid to rest next to her parents Delores and Ralph Epler.
