David Robert Tellock, a lifelong resident of Nimrod, MN, died unexpectedly on December 7, 2015 at the age of 64 while working in Beulah, ND. Dave was born on November 20, 1951 to Roger and Frances (Johnson) Tellock. On August 11, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Jeanne (Huotari) in Sebeka, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Survivors include his wife Jeanne; his two daughters Karen Johnson (Nathan) of Desert Hot Springs, CA and Kelly Ledbetter (Mark) of Highland, CA; six grandchildren, Ezekiel, Ashley, Eulaila, Aaron, Nathan, and Matthew; his sister Bonita Runnels; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dave was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting in Montana and Minnesota and fishing in Alaska. He was a jackpine savage who loved the woods and mountains. He was a problem solver, always up for the task. He kept busy helping others with a variety of projects. Dave will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Dave’s work here is done. He received a call, an offer he couldn't refuse, for a project from which he will not be returning. The task comes with a huge sign on bonus; a reunion with family and friends who have gone on before him. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where laughter and love are guaranteed. We will remember his laugh, his energy, and his love for life, family, and friends. He worked hard all of his life, until the very end. He made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us for a Memorial and Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00pm, at Nimrod Lutheran Church, 28138 Co Rd 26, Nimrod, MN with a light lunch to follow.
