Harold Henry Milbradt age 87, of Sebeka died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena, MN. Harold was born to Henry Otto and Olga (Eckert) Milbradt on January 31, 1928 in Sebeka, MN. Harold was united in marriage to Evelyn Lucille Tappe on September 22, 1951. They lived on the Albert Tappe SR Place and later moved to the Homestead of the Late Henry Milbradt. They raised their seven children on this farm. Harold farmed, operated Heavy Equipment and worked for Wadena County, he also owned and operated his own sawmill for many years. Harold enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved taking pictures and feeding and watching the Birds. In his younger years he looked forward to deer hunting with his sons. He enjoyed going out to eat and loved visiting. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Olga Milbradt; his wife Evelyn; brothers, Tom and Julius; sisters, Irene, Ethel, Marian and Audrey; infant son Kenneth Lee Milbradt; son-in-law Ralph Bruininga and one daughter-in-law Sheila Milbradt. Harold is survived by his seven children; Keith (Diane) Milbradt family of Wadena; Vickie (Ralph) Bruininga family of Wadena; Allen (Jenny) Milbradt family of Dilworth; Kevin Milbradt family of Nimrod; Kurt (Sheila) Milbradt family of Hazen, ND; Terry Milbradt family of Sebeka and DeeVon (Gust) Schoon family of Menahga; sister Lorraine Kreklau; his eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. “Dad enjoyed life and always had a Smile.” Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 and one hour prior to the service at the Church. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka with Pastor Raymond Hendrickson officiating. Faye Mavis will serve as organist. Avis Horton and Sierra Milbradt will provide special music. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Berg Nylund American Legion Post #456 Sebeka, MN will provide Military Honors. Inurnment will be at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.
