Vergil Eugene Meier

Vergil Eugene Meier passed away in his home on June 21, 2015. Vergil was 62 when we lost him. Vergil struggled with multiple health issues so we all take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain. Vergil was the next to the oldest of 14 kids. He was preceded in death by his father, George Arnold Meier, Bouse, AZ; his mother Delores Handley-Meier-Leiseth, Portland, OR; Siblings: George Wayne Meier LaGrande, OR; Carol Lee (Meier) Jackman, Battleground, WA; Infant twin sisters, Janice and Joyce Meier and infant twin brothers Mark and Mathew Meier all passing within their first few days of life. Vergil leaves behind to grieve, his step mom Sharon Meier, Bouse, AZ/St Cloud, MN; step father Wayne Leiseth, Portland, OR, Siblings: Karen Kay (Meier) Johnson (Herb), Spanaway, WA; Delores Diane (Meier) Cureton (Lonnie), Winlock, WA; Susan Arlene (Meier) Huggett, Portland, OR; Cindy (Meier) Kelley, unknown; Eugene Jay Meier (Holly), Eagle, ID; Angela Lynn Schaefer (Henry), St Cloud, MN; John Scott Meier, Boise, Idaho. His greatest lost will be to his children: Amy Busselle, Robert Meier, Jason Meier and Andrew Meier. Vergil was grandfather to Jacob, Dillan, Cody, Samantha, Madeline, Alex, Logun, Allyssa and Wyatt and coming soon great grandbaby Conner. There are so many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who have had their lives touched by knowing Vergil. He is loved by so many and we will all miss him.
