Gary Blaine Denny, age 60, of Willmar, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 31, at his home in Willmar from a heart attack. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M., Friday, April 3, at Peterson Brother Funeral Home in Willmar. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Sebeka United Methodist Church in Sebeka, MN with Pastor Steven Koehne officiating. Inurnment will be at the Hewitt Cemetery in Hewitt, MN. Gary Blaine Denny was born on May 21, 1954 in Bertha, Minnesota, the son of Joyce Elaine (Roline) and Gerald Lee Denny. He grew up in the Hewitt, Minnesota area where he was baptized at the Methodist Church. Gary received his education in the Hewitt school and graduated from Bertha Hewitt High School in 1972. He moved to Willmar in 2000, worked as a manager at turkey farms for many years and since 2008 he has worked at Haug Implement as a shop assistant. Gary enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, playing bingo and marbles and loved being with his family and friends. Gary will be dearly missed. He is survived by a special friend, Jane Wagner of Willmar, his parents, Joyce and Gerald (Pete) Denny of Sebeka and 1 daughter, Tracy (and Dale) Peterson of Braham. Also surviving is 1 grandchild, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Sharon (and Jack) Johnson of Dalbo and Sandra (and Eugene) Kapphahn of Hewitt. Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
