Dale William Loween

Dale William Loween passed away peacefully on January 1, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd, Minnesota at the age of 55. Dale was born to Kenneth and Lorraine Loween on July 24, 1959 in Wadena County. He was raised at home until he went to Brainerd and attended the PACE program, later transferring to the Lynndale Home in Baxter. Dale was at the Lynndale Home where he received excellent care from the staff who appreciated his pleasant attitude with a smile. The loving care shown by the home’s staff is deeply appreciated and comforting to the family. Dale will be lovingly remembered by his mother Lorraine Loween, sisters: Jeannie (Denis) Rathcke, Susan (Ray) Hoffman and brother Darrell (Sue King), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and one uncle. Dale was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, nephew Daren Rathcke and great nephew Aaron Rathcke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Nimrod Lutheran Church in Nimrod, with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at the Nimrod Cemetery.
