Brayden Teague Redetzke

July 22, 2010 — August 1, 2014

Brayden Teague Redetzke, age 4 years and 10 days of Sebeka, MN peacefully passed into the arms of Angels on Friday, August 1, 2014 at his home. Brayden was born on July 22, 2010 in Staples, MN to Kimberly Hendrickson and Shawn Redetzke, big brother Karter welcomed him home also. Brayden was a strong little boy, going through numerous daunting health issues in the four short years he was with us. Every time he rallied through, surprising everyone who knew and loved him. He remained a mystery to health care providers, being he didn’t follow any set plan they had in place for children. Brayden’s strength and beautiful personality touched many lives and he remains an inspiration for everyone. His bright smile and easy going temperament brought joy to our hearts, especially to his big brother Karter, who he loved with all his heart. No matter how sick he was or how much he was struggling he never complained or gave up. Brayden is survived by his parents, Kimberly and Shawn and big brother, Karter of Sebeka, MN; Grandparents Lori and Marv Redetzke of Sebeka, MN; Vergene Hendrickson of Menahga, MN; Rodney Hendrickson of Corcoran, MN; nine uncles and four aunts, great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Brayden was preceded in death by great grandparents Harold and Norma Redetzke, Harris and Mae Stennes, Uno and Maxine Makela, Richard and Hilda Hendrickson and cousin, Sarah Makela. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 8, 2014 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Sebeka, with Pastor Rachel Stout officiating.
