Myrtle Marie Marlow age 85, formerly of Huntersville, MN died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Pleasant Akers Assisted Living near Akeley, MN. Myrtle Marie Marlow was born to Henry and Minnie (Pearson) Burgess December 2, 1928 in Pine River, MN. She lived most of her life on a farm near Huntersville. Myrtle was united in marriage to John L Marlow on July 23, 1973 in Hackensack, MN. She worked several years at the Ringer Sewing Factory in Park Rapids, MN. Her hobbies included gardening and quilting and she enjoyed listening to country music. She is survived by daughters, Lois Ensley of Venus, TX; Fern (Richard) Damson of Iron, MN; sons, Lewis (Sue) Hasbrouck of Missoula, MT; Merlin (Debbie) Hasbrouck of Hibbing, MN; daughter-in-law Barbara Hasbrouck (Steven) Frame of Nevis, MN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie Burgess; husband John L. Marlow, son Norman Hasbrouck; grandson Alan S. Ensley; son-in law Alan W. Ensley, granddaughter Jada Hasbrouck Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Wevley Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Huntersville Cemetery.
