Clifford Gary Schoon

Clifford Schoon, age 70, of Sebeka, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at his home. Clifford was born January 1, 1944 in Wadena, MN to Gustave and Grace (Tilton) Schoon. He grew up in the Sebeka area and attended Sebeka High School and graduated with the class of 1962. On August 11, 1962 he married his lifetime Sweetheart Sharon Thomas. They were blessed with seven children. Soon after they were married they moved to their farm where they raised their family. Throughout his lifetime Clifford was a cattle dealer and a dairy farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, friends and especially his grandkids. He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Clifford is survived by his wife Sharon, of almost 52 years; children: Connie (Vern) Johnson, Christine Milbradt (Gary), Gust (DeeVon) Schoon, Cari (Jon) Grenier, Colleen (Donald) Berttunen, Casey Schoon (Joe), and Guy (Nicole) Schoon; grandchildren: Shayne, Brady, Derek, Savanna, Alissa, Dallas, Colter, Jaden, Mardi, Dustin, Ryan, Nicole, Keylee, Wade, Timbr, Brock, Bodie, Chance, Tripp, Skylar, Blake, Sydney, Sadie, Gabrielle, and six great-grandchildren; also two sisters: Marjory Jordan of Sebeka; and Marlene (Larry) Pihlstrom of Wisconsin; one brother, Clarence (Gwen) Schoon of Sebeka. He is preceded in death by parents Gustave and Grace, infant sister Gladys and awesome son-in-law Verlin Milbradt. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 23, 2014 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Sebeka with Pastor Rachel Stout officiating. Marge Kinnunen will serve as organist. Bekkie Hart will be the soloist. Honorary Pallbearers are all who called him friend. Active Casketbearers include Shayne Milbradt, Dallas Ehrmantraut, Colter Ehrmantraut, Keylee Schoon, Skylar Schoon, and Derek Tucker. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
