Laura Kumara

Laura Kumara age 97, of Richfield, MN died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. Laura was born to John and Bess (Mahler) Thiede on January 30, 1917 in Spruce Grove Township, Becker County, MN. Laura worked as a waitress and Hostess, and she worked in a Daycare until she was ninety years old. Laura was united in marriage to Hugo Kumara in 1937 three sons were born to this union. Laura is survived by her son James Kumara; daughter-in-law Janette; brother Fred Thiede and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugo and two sons LeRoy and Duane. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Wolf Lake Cemetery in Wolf Lake, MN.
