Christ Robert Hinders

Christ (Chris) Robert Hinders–Bob to those who knew him well was born on October 3, 1943 to Christ Louis Hinders and Mildred Lucille (Rowe) Hinders in Becker County, MN. He passed away in his home on December 11, 2012, at the age of 69. Chris grew up in Sebeka, MN and graduated from Sebeka High in 1961. He was self-employed and worked his whole life with heavy equipment across the country. He excavated and paved many roads for us all to find our way through life. He was member of the United Methodist Church, Sebeka, MN and first and foremost, a father. Chris is survived by his daughters, Kricket Hinders of Phoenix AZ and Kassi Hinders-(Matthew) Malsam of Moorhead MN; siblings: Marie (David) Bendix-sister; Charlie (Sandy) Hinders-brother, and Louie (Annie) Hinders-brother; nieces/great nieces, nephews/great nephews; and the many who looked to him as a father, a brother, and a friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Richard Hinders), and grandma (Katie Hinders). He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN and one hour prior to the service at the Church. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Sebeka United Methodist Church with Pastor Steven Koehne officiating.
