Kenneth Stanley Moench (Ken), age 56, passed away on November 14, 2012, due to complications of cancer at Fair Oaks Lodge, Wadena MN, where he received special, compassionate care. Ken was born September 25, 1956, at Wesley Hospital, Wadena MN, to Stanley and Violet Moench. He graduated from Sebeka High School in 1975 and Anoka Hennepin Technical College for Auto Body Repair in 1976. Ken spent many years doing the things he loved best as a farmer, auto/aircraft body repairman, and truck driver. The last few years of his life he drove tractor at Central Turf Farms, Sebeka MN. He loved fishing, hunting, working on equipment, and running farm equipment. Ken will be missed by his mother, Violet Moench, Sebeka MN, and his brothers and sisters: Judy Wenzel (Tony), Randall MN, Donald Moench, Sebeka MN, Lee Moench (Shirley), Garfield MN, Billie Moench (Carolyn), Sebeka MN, Sharon Wollum (Gerry), Coon Rapids MN, and Tim Moench, Sebeka MN, many nieces and nephews, and Buttons, the family dog, who loved Ken dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Moench, and grandparents. Honorary Pallbearers are his brothers and sisters: Judy Wenzel, Donald Moench, Lee Moench, Billie Moench, Sharon Wollum, Tim Moench, and his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the United Methodist Church of Sebeka, MN on Saturday, November 17, 2012, 1:00-2:00 pm. Funeral will be immediately following the Visitation at 2:00 pm at the church with the Reverend Steven Koehne officiating. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon at the church immediately following the service. Burial will be held at the Wing River Union Cemetery in North Germany Township, Wadena County, MN at a later time with the family.
