John David Poland

John David Poland, age 80, a resident of Sebeka, MN died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Fair Oaks Nursing home in Wadena, MN. John was born to Charles and Charlotte (Clapper) Poland on December 29, 1931 in St. Albans, Vermont. John is survived by his sister, Sandy Chaplin of Connecticut; children, Debbie Wallace of Galatia, Illinois; Sharon Frisk of Motley, MN; John C. Poland of rural Hillview, MN; grandchildren: Michelle Greathouse of Wyoming, Illinois; Jennifer Pegg of rural Pope County, Illinois; Stephanie Bullard of West Frankfort, Illinois; Andrew Wallace of Galatia, Illinois; Evan Frisk of Soldotna, Alaska; Tyler Frisk of Fargo, North Dakota; Jessica McClellan of Toledo, Ohio; John is also survived by six great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Jackie Garland of St. Albans, Vermont; his wife, Beverly Ann Poland of Sebeka and one grandchild Bobbi Jo Wallace of Galatia, Illinois. Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating. Special music will be provided by the Wallace Family. Berg Nylund American Legion Post# 456 of Sebeka, MN will provide Military Honors.
