Dale Robert Alexander

Dale Robert Alexander age 88 of Sebeka, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga, MN. Dale was born to Robert and Ada (Widholm) Alexander on October 18, 1923 in Duluth, MN. As a young child he moved with his parents to Mound, MN where he attended school. He attended one year of college in Minneapolis, MN. Dale served in the United States Army during WWII from July 29, 1942 until his honorable discharge on January 31, 1946. He drove for Grey Hound Bus Lines and Voight Bus Lines. After his retirement he moved to Aitkin, MN and then to Sebeka. He was a member of the VFW Post 6206 of Menahga and American Legion Post 456 of Sebeka. Dale is survived by his special Friend Jean Koitila and her family and friends, also three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating. Interment will be at Red Eye Cemetery in Wadena County.
