Whitney Rae Pajari

March 4, 1994 — January 9, 2012

Whitney Rae Pajari went to be with her Lord on January 9, 2012, as a result of a tragic car accident. She was dearly loved by her family and many friends, and will be sadly missed. Whitney was born on March 4, 1994 in Wadena, Minnesota. She was baptized by Chester Ylitalo at her great-grandmother Hilda Nevala’s home and confirmed at Sebeka United Methodist Church, where she attended church. Whitney truly loved her Lord and was a Christian. She was a senior at Sebeka Public School, and participated in various activities over her school years, such as youth group, band, sports, and extracurricular art classes. Whitney was exceptionally artistic, along with various other talents. She also did some babysitting, office cleaning, and deli/cashier work. Whitney will be forever missed by her parents, George and Cindy (née Kinnunen)Pajari, brothers Waylon, Max and John, and sister Bobbi Lyn; her grandparents, Robert Pajari of Pine River, Anna Pajari of Walker, and Ken and Marie Kinnunen of Ironwood, Michigan; uncles and aunts, Shirley Pajari of Cody, Wyoming, Darin and Ruth (Mattila) Kinnunen of Brush Prairie, Washington, Nate and Kristy (Kinnunen) Mattila of Ironwood, Michigan, Kurt and Michele (Talo) Kinnunen of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, Alex and Lisa (Kinnunen) Mattila of Brush Prairie, Washington, Kalomb and Amy (Kinnunen) Hollenbeck of Ironwood, Michigan, Eric and Amanda (Kinnunen) Matson of Brush Prairie, Washington, and Daniel and Shianne (Kinnunen) Aili, of Ironwood, Michigan; along with many, many cousins and other relatives and friends. Waiting for Whitney in Heaven are her twin baby sisters, Robin and Rochelle; great-grandparents August and Hilda Nevala and Richard and Saima Pajari, Edwin and Bertha Kinnunen, Edwin and Seeri Ruotsala; uncle Robert Pajari Jr.; along with several great-aunts and uncles, cousins, and special friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 12, at 3:00 p.m. at the Sebeka Public School with Pastor Steven Koehne officiating. Friends may call at the school from 1:00–3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jayne Koskiniemi will serve as organist. Honorary Pallbearers are all who called her friend. Lunch will be served at the Sebeka United Methodist Church following the service. Inurnment services will be held at a later date.
