Angela “Angie” Jo Kruft, 28, of Hubbard/Park Rapids, MN died, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in Bradford County, Gillett, Pennsylvania where she was currently working as a Union X-Ray Technician for the Natural Gas Pipe Line. Angie was born to Terry and Karen (Sordahl) Kruft on November 14, 1983 in Park Rapids, MN. She grew up in Hubbard, MN and attended school in Park Rapids, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Hubbard United Methodist Church. Angie received her GED in May of 2002. She worked at Super America and the Park Rapids Eagles Club for several years, eventually attending Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes for Ultrasound Technology. She gained employment with the pipeline which took her on many adventures as she traveled around the country. Angie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hanging out at the lake, fishing, dancing, and music; she could name almost any song and who sang it. Angie had a special likeness for frogs, butterflies and fairies which she proudly displayed as tattoos. She had a gregarious personality that permeated her surroundings whether it be a campsite or a living room. Her enormous sense of humor was abundantly shared with those around her. She was known for remembering birthdays and special occasions with phone calls, text messages and gifts. Angie is survived by her parents Terry Kruft, of Hubbard, MN; Karen Kruft of Park Rapids, MN; two brothers, Thomas Kruft of Big Pine Key, FL; Richard Kruft of Hubbard, MN two nieces, Kyelee and Kaytlin, three nephews, Tahlen, Zachariah, and Izaahk, several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends. Angie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Elizabeth Sordahl, paternal grandparents Francis and Dorothy Kruft, and an uncle, Paul Sordahl. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Hubbard United Methodist Church in Hubbard, MN with Pastor Laurie Kantonen officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Active Casketbearers will be Tharen Grussing, Dan Leckner, Mike Glennon, Al Donnay, Heather Shepersky and Angela Brown. Interment will be at the Hubbard Cemetery in Hubbard.
