Alec Dale Davey

Alec Dale Davey age 16, of Sebeka, MN died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN from injuries sustained in a 4-wheeling accident on Tuesday, August 9 in Sebeka. Alec was born May 3, 1995 to Danny and Sherri (Beckman) Davey in Perham, MN. He was baptized in the Apostolic Lutheran Church and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka, MN. Alec had just finished 10th Grade at Sebeka High School. He was involved in golf, Special Olympics and Rising Phoenix in Wadena. Alec enjoyed fishing, riding his 4-wheeler- his pride and joy, going to auction with grandpa Darwin, camping, swimming, school trips, basketball, bike riding, music, PS2 player, going to movies, computer board games, collecting baseball cards, watching TV and being with his friends. Alec was a beautiful child of God; a caring rambunctious little boy and ambitious helpful, artistic, yet happy go lucky young man, full of a sense of adventure. He was worthy of being loved by everyone and everyone did. Alec will always be remembered and missed. To celebrate the continuation of Alec’s life his organs were donated thru Life Source. Alec is survived by his father Danny Davey; sister Cassie Davey; grandparents, Kathleen and Darwin Lillquist, Judine Beckman, Lloyd and Jeri Beckman and Roy Davey; great grandparents, Rudella Nelson, Leona Hinckley and Elsie Lillquist; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Sherri (Beckman) Davey, great grandparents, Bob Thomas, Roy and Mary Davey and Elmer Lillquist. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating. Diane Crabb will serve as organist. Congregational hymns will be “Jesus Loves Me,” “On Eagles Wings,” “Children of the Heavenly Father” and “Amazing Grace.” Honorary Pallbearers are the Class of 2013 his friends and family. Active Casketbearers include Tre’ Beckman, Michael Lillquist, Shane Jones, Derek Lillquist, Donnie Lesnau, Billy Paurus, Shawn Redetzke and Buck Laliberte Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery in New York Mills, MN.
